The nonsensical ponderings of Eric Frisch...

Just a quick note about something that happened way too late to blog about last night.  I'm always impressed when the late night talk show hosts take a moment to get serious about something on their shows.  I remember Jay Leno's remembrance of Johnny Carson when he passed away.  I remember being very impressed with the way he did that, since he devoted his entire (usually very humorous) monologue to something very serious.  Last night, both he and Conan O'Brien took time to remember Tom Snyder, and I was once again very impressed.  I don't think I've ever seen Conan that serious before, but I applaud them both on realizing that sometimes, it's just better not to be funny.  Just something on my mind this morning.
