It's time for another installment of "Eric's Exciting Adventures"! Our story begins with myself driving down the road, nothing out of the ordinary. I was just headed towards BK to grab a little dinner before what promised to be a very (un)exciting evening. And then it got exciting after all. I stopped at a red light, and my car completely died. We're talking completely, and with no warning. Needless to say, I was freaking out a little bit. Here I am stuck at this intersection, and I can't even turn on my blinkers (yup... that dead). So I jump out of the car and I'm calling AAA while I'm waving people around the side of my car so I won't get rear-ended. Honestly, that was my biggest fear throughout the whole thing. I knew AAA would come and take care of the car, so i wasn't concerned about that, I was just afraid I'd get the back of my car plowed before they got there. So I stand there for about 20-25 minutes waving the other cars around mine while I wait. Brandon showed up randomly during that time, which was good because he ended up giving me a ride. The tow truck comes and picks up the car and takes it over to ProCare, and Brandon and I follow to make sure everything's good over there. So ends part one of this adventure.
As part two of our adventure begins, the curtain rises on Brandon and I pulling into the ProCare behind the tow truck. As the driver unhooks the car, he says "so what happened to it, anyways?". I reply by telling him the story mentioned above and he says "That's weird, the same thing happened to another car earlier today. Pop the hood for a second." So of course, I pop the hood. He jiggles a couple things and the lights and such come back on. Turns out that the battery terminals had shaken loose. Brandon and I ran up to Advanced Auto Parts and bought a wrench, came back and tightened the terminals, and it ran fine for the rest of the night. Go figure.
So that's the story. Tune in next time, same Eric-doesn't-know-anything-about-cars place, same Eric-doesn't-know-anything-about-cars channel!
