So it started raining at about 1:00 AM... and it didn't stop until about 9:00 PM.  Needless to say, everything (and everybody) around here is a little soggy!  One good thing about that, though, is that it pushed all of our rehearsals inside for today, and likely cancelled tomorrow morning.  Even so, the drumline's getting together to change heads... but that's ok with me, it's something to do, something to get my mind working early in the morning, and it won't involve carrying the drums... which will be a major improvement over everything else I've done since I got here.

I finally started working on my paper today (the one that's due on Friday morning).  It's really not too bad, in my opinion.  It's going to be pretty short, but I'm making my points, backing them up with all the garbage this guy spouts in his book, and then being done with it!  It's about 2/3 of the way finished, and I think I've decided that the rest will get done tomorrow afternoon, because I know I'm going to have some time.

I did a very emo thing tonight.  After the evening rehearsal ended, they had a little talent show thing, which was really funny, so I went to that.  That ended about 8:45.  I then proceeded to walk around campus alone, in the rain, until about 9:30.  It was actually very nice... the rain hitting my face, the coolest temperatures we've had since I got here... just thinking.  I got a lot of good thinking done tonight... didn't necessarily get me anywhere, but it felt good while I was doing it.

I'm going to be alright.  Sometimes I doubt that... and the last few days I definitely have been... but I'm going to be okay.
