The nonsensical ponderings of Eric Frisch...

Last night at Joshua House, Eric Pickerill spoke on business and finding rest.  He was using the second verse of Psalm 23: "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures, He leadeth me beside still waters."  He talked about how many people are addicted to business, wanting to do something, even if it's not something they'd particularly enjoy, just so that they'll have one more thing to do.  I have to admit, I really identified with what he said.  I'm a lot like that.  I get asked to do a lot of things I don't want to do, and I'm involved in a lot of things I don't want to be involved in, but the truth is, I have trouble saying no.  I am addicted to my hectic life!  I'm realizing more and more that I need to change a couple things.  I need to focus more on certain areas of my life and let others go a little bit.  That will be good for me if anything ever was.  More on that in the future.
