The nonsensical ponderings of Eric Frisch...

A Mindsay Rarity
Warning: this post contains a positive comment about American Apparel.  If this frightens or disturbs you... read it anyways.

American Apparel takes a lot of crap here on Mindsay.  It's not unfounded.  Yes, those are some strange ads.  No, I don't know anybody who wears clothes that look like that.  That said, American Apparel does make a darn good t-shirt.  That's kind of what made them famous in the first place.  They make all their clothes in a sweatshop-free factory here in the U.S.A. (hence, American Apparel).  A couple weeks ago, I saw Jars of Clay play at a concert and, seeing as they are my favorite band and I've never bought anything from them except CDs, I decided to get a shirt.  When I first picked it up, my first thought was "wow, this is really soft!"  I checked the tag.  You guessed it: American Apparel.

I wore it today.  It was comfortable.  They may be a strange company, but they do make good clothes.
