The nonsensical ponderings of Eric Frisch...

Let's see... what's new. Well, we had a marathon practice/meeting with the band last night to start tour preparations... it's really coming together, and it's going to go very well... I can just tell. I'm very excited about it. It's just going to be awesome... We're still working on finishing up piecing together the other band that's going to play... it has a name now... Justin and I have dubbed it "Spinfaktor," a pretty cool name for what we would like to think is a pretty cool band, lol.

Friday is my trip to Oxford. I'm getting excited. I really miss Deanna, and I'm excited about the oppertunity to see her... and it's almost here! Woohoo! I'm also going to be stopping in Piqua on the way back for dinner with Chris, so that will be cool too. Mom and I talked about college and various other things today... we're taking a shopping trip to Findlay tomorrow to look for stuff... so that will be cool.

I really need to figure out what's wrong with my laptop... besides the fact that I'm stuck back on the old Mac right now... I'm taking that computer to college and I need to get it functioning before then!

Today I was thinking about country music... and the increasing number of religious themed songs coming out in that genre... it's interesting. Much of the world views the country music genre as a bunch of backwards hicks... but the openness to different topics exhibited there is greater than in any other style I've listened to recently. We have songs for and against the war in Iraq, we have songs about Jesus, I'm just impressed with the open-mindedness.
